He was born on 2nd November in the year 1965 in the capital of India, New Delhi. He is one star in the Hindi Cinema industry who has given many blockbusters and the list of his flop films is very less. It won’t be wrong to say that he is the idol of billions of youngster in not only India but also outside India. He is also popularly known as SRK, “Badshah Khan” and Tom Cruise of India.



Shahrukh Khan did not have a luxurious life since he was born and was born in a common man’s family. He has done his Bachelors in Economics from Hansraj College. He had no links with the cinema industry but now he has managed to secure the top position in it. He has learned his acting from the “Theatre Acting Group” in New Delhi. He came to Mumbai in the year 1991, when his mother died. He worked on television shows before becoming the adorable Khan of the Cinema industry. In the year 1988 he made his debut in the television series, Fauji. He also did a major role in Aziz Mirza’s Circus and he also did a small role in “In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones”. When he shifted to Mumbai, he got an offer to work in Hema Malini’s “Dil Ashna Hai but it could not be released due to delays in production. Made his debut in the cinemas through “Deewna: in the year 1992. He made a long lasting impression through his movie and this launched his career in the Bollywood industry. He won the FilmFare Best Male Debutant Actor for this film. Since then he has done around 75 films and many of them were blockbusters.



Shahrukh khan is truly the king of Hindi cinema industry who has a net worth estimated to be around $600 million. He has made his huge wealth through his many hit films like “ Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “DDLJ”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam”, “Chennai Express”, “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and many more. He also owns two production houses: Red Chillies Entertainment and Dreamz Unlimited. Apart from being such a successful actor, he is also a renowned owner of an IPL team, Knight Riders worth around $75.09 million which he has bought with actress Juhi Chawla. He is also one of the most bankable stars as he is the owner of the Mumbai Franchise in i1 Super Series, Motorsport Racing League. He owns a lavish villa in Dubai, which is considered to be his holiday home and the Mumbai based, six storied mansion, Mannat which has a total worth of around Rs 200 crores. He has a love for cars and owns six luxury cars which are: Mitsubishi Pajero SFX, Audi A6, BMW7 series,  BMW 6 series, Land Cruiser, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé. He also endorses many brands like: Pepsi, Hyundai, Sprite, Airtel, Videocon and many more.



Khan is among one of the generous actors in the film industry. When it comes to his philanthropic interests, he likes to maintain a low profile and does not talk much about them. According to him, if you do charity due to some reason it cannot be considered as charity. “Make a Wish Foundation” is one of his notable charitable organizations. He is one of the boards of directors in this non- profitable organization which works for poor children. In the year 2005, to help the victims of “2004 Indian Ocean earthquake” he helped to raise money by performing at Help! Telethon Concert. He has performed in many more concerts that aimed to raise money for a good cause.

He has been truly committed to his wife. He got married to Gauri Chibber in the year 1991. He is a proud father of three children: eldest son, Aryan, daughter Suhana and third child Abram.
