Net Worth :5 million dollars

Born for gaining name and fame in the word, Percy Romeo Miller is an American actor, tycoon, a model and also had earned fame as a player of basketball which is his passion. He is also a damn good rapper with a $5 million dollar net worth. This great personality was born on 19 August 1989 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is famous all over the world by his name Romeo which this stage gave him or earlier known as Lil’ Romeo. His father, Master P was also a very famous rap mogul and business tycoon of his time. His mother is also a rapper; Sonya C. Romeo’s music became the most wanted music and loved by all. As a result it was released on almost every record namely:

Koch Records

Guttar Music

Priority Records

The Next Generation

No Limit Forever, etc.

In his early career, Miller won the award that was earlier hold by legend in the world of music, Michael Jackson to give number 1 hits on Billboard 200. He was the youngest musician to get that award. He started achieving success at 5 years of age when he first time wrote for his father’s rap.

“My Baby” was his music launched in early 2000s which gave him youngest star award in Billboard 200. It was his debut with legendary the Michael Jackson at a concert on 10 September 2001. This concert held just a night earlier to the attack on WTC (World Trade Centre) in America. He qualified platinum by RIAA, a recording industry of America. He went on achieving gold certificated over and over again and 500,000 sets of his music sold every year. By this in his early age, he became famous with name “Lil’ Romeo”.

After the successful launch of his hit debut album “My Baby”, he released his second album “Game Time” in 2002.”My Baby” was at 6th number on Billboard 200, and the second one was at No. 33. He was selling 80,000 copies of Game Time in the very 1st week of release and it was ranked on 10th position in Hip-Hop Albums. It procreated the albums like “True Love’, “2-Way” which ranked 66 and 16 are in Hot 100 Singles. Yet Romeo was not as much successful on the chart of Billboard 200 or any other Single Albums but his music was counted as the best-selling music. The figure crossed over 450,000 copies.

Basketball Career

In 2006, after achieving a great success in the field of music, he was called by ABCD Camp, which is sponsored by Reebok and a basketball camp in Teaneck, New Jersey. In this camp all the famous players like Tracy McGrady, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, etc. was playing and Miller did not fit perfect here as he scored only 2 points per game which is less than average score throughout the basketball camp. This camp is enclosed by NBA players also like Kevin Love, O. J. Mayo and many others. He was invited in the basketball club on the recommendations of his father Percy Miller because he was joined with this camp when he was an entrepreneur, this was explained by the director of camp, Sonny Vaccaro in an article “A Hot Prospect” on 8 March. Vaccaro even wrote in the article that Miller is not the one who fits in this profile. He is not made for playing basketball. But it is truly said that nothing is impossible. The fear lies within us and the spirit of fighting that fear also lies in oneself. So, after being rejected by the camp ABCD, he decided to fight against it. He decided to be a basketball player to compete others and for this in 2005 he played at Beverly High School as a point guard of 5’11” for three years. As a junior, his score increased from 2 points per game to 13.9 points per game and 5.6 assists. When he played as a senior in the year 2006-2007 he scored average 8.6 points per game. He improved a lot and proved himself in basketball also.

Earnings & Economic Data

Miller’s financial condition was good enough as he was a rapper, actor and basketball player. Adding all his assets including contracts, salaries, his certifications, stocks and earn outs and many more things, his financial data in the year 2013 was $1,250,000 per annum.

He has his own TV series in which he is staring and it is a comic series on the channel Nickelodeon i.e. Nick cable network. He formed his new group known as “College Boys” in the same year when he started his own label under rapping which was “The Next Generation Entertainment”.

He ended with the throw down in the career of basketball due to some incidents in the past. He won scholarship from USC (University of Southern California) when he was playing basketball in the year 2008-2009 as a point guard.

He was influenced by this a lot and said that I am not happy that because of some incidents in the past two years I have to leave basketball but ultimately he ended up saying that everything happens for a good reason and it might be possible that I will start my career in some new field where I will be counted as a star. He decided to continue his career further as an actor and said sarcastically that I won’t be a vampire there.

Net Worth: $80 million

Career/Profession: Basketball Coach, Executive

Age: 69

“If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges.

-Pat Riley

Patrick James Riley is a professional American basketball executive and a former coach and basketball player in the NBA. He is known to be one of the greatest NBA coaches of all time who has served as the head coach of five champion teams. Currently he is the tem president of the Miami Heat. He was awarded the prestigious position of the NBA Coach of the Year thrice. Recently, Pat Riley won the 2012 and 2013 NBA championships as Miami Heat bagged the title. In fact, Pat Riley is the only American sports figure to have won a championship as a player, as a coach and as an executive. He also received the Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award in June, 2012.

“Its basketball, man!”

Born in Rome, New York, Riley started playing basketball at Linton High School under coaches Walt Przybylo, Bill Rapavy and Ed Catino. During that time, the school game between Linton High School and NYC’s Power memorial, where Linton High school won by 74-68, will always be remembered for Pat Riley.

Even during his college days at the University of Kentucky, Riley was a versatile player and was named with several honorary titles, right from First Team All SEC, All NCAA Tournament Team, NCAA Regional Player of the Year, SEC Player of the Year and AP Third Team All American.

Pat Riley was selected by the San Diego Rockets during the first round of the NBA draft and was also selected by the Dallas Cowboys during the 11th round of the draft. Nevertheless, he joined the San Diego Rockets and later was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers but was immediately traded off to the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite all this he remained a not-so-special player and retired soon after.

“Life isn’t over yet”

Playing career over? So what? Pat Riley returned to the NBA in 1977 as a broadcaster for the Los Angeles Lakers. After the team’s head coach was injured in a fatal accident, Riley’s role transformed from the broadcaster to one of the assistant coaches of the team. Riley led the team to four consecutive NBA finals. During his tenure as a coach, the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA championship, becoming the first team in 19 years to repeat as champions. Riley stepped down as the coach of the team after they lost to the Phoenix Suns in 1990. He was still named the NBA Coach of the Year.

After his stint with the Lakers Riley took up the job of television commentator, followed by the position of the head coach of the New York Knicks in 1991. He led the team to the best regular season records and was named the Coach of the Year for the second time. The team, although, lost in seven games in the NBA Finals in 1994. So Riley resigned from New York Knicks and joined the Miami Heat as their head coach.

Though his joining the Miami Heat stirred a round of controversy, it all got cleared later on. In 1997, Miami Heat defeated Riley’s old team New York Knicks and Riley became the Coach of the Year for the third time. Few years later in 2003, Riley again stepped down as the coach of The Heat and concentrated on his duties as the general manager, after he was disappointed with the team’s performance. However, he shocked everyone when he resumed his role as a coach in 2005. But he again decided to step down after the team’s miserable performance.

Life beyond Sports

Riley published a book called Showtime: Inside the Lakers’ Breakthrough Season, in 1988 which became a bestseller in New York. His name was also associated with a video game called Pat Riley Basketball. In 1993, Riley published his second book The Winner Within: A Life Plan for Team Players which was again a New York bestseller.

We had also seen Pat Riley modeling at an Armani show, as was obvious because of his close bonding with Giorgio Armani.

Apart from this, Pat Riley is a well known motivational speaker around the world. He charges as far as $ 50, 000 for each speaking engagement.

Assets

More recently Pat Riley was in news when he sold off his Waterfront Coral Gables house for $16.75 million, which he had bought in 1996 for $6.3 million. The five bedrooms, eight bathroom mansion stretches wide across 2 acres of land in the Gables Estate Club. The mansion boasts of 12, 856 sq. ft. of living space, a media room, a wine cellar, a well stocked library with a fireplace, a pool so huge that it can host an entire franchise. What more? This magnificent palace also houses a private sandy beach and dock. The whopping amount seems quite legitimate for this beautiful bungalow.

With this we wrap up this article. Pat Riley is probably one of the greatest contributors to basketball in America, be it as a player or a coach or the president of the team. We wish him luck for all his future endeavors!

Net Worth: $180 Million

PROFESSION : Basketball Player

Kevin Maurice Garnett nicknamed “K.G” is an American professional basketball player of the NBA with a net worth of around $180 million. In his career spanning 18 years, he has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Bolton Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets. In the NBA, where match-ups are everything, Kevin has been a one-man nightmare for most of his career.

Early years

Kevin, the middle child in his family, was born in South Carolina, to O’Lewis McCullough and Shirley Garnett. After the separation of his parents, he moved to Mauldin, South Carolina, where his mother married his stepfather. He fell in love with the sport of basketball when he was in middle school, although he did not play organized basketball until high school. Due to a racially charged incident and fearful of being a target, He transferred to Farragut Career Academy in Chicago in his senior year of high school and it was here that he was named National High school player of the year by USA Today.

NBA

In 1995, He became the first NBA player to be directly drafted out of high school in 20 years when he was picked by the Minnesota Timberwolves. From that point onwards, Garnett has never looked back. He made an instant impact, leading the Timberwolves to eight consecutive playoff appearances. In the 1997-98 season, Garnett signed a 6-year contract extension with the Timberwolves for an unparalleled $126 million. It was also the season when Kevin made it to the NBA All-star team for the first time. He won a gold medal with the USA men’s National Basketball team at the Summer Olympics held in Australia in 2000. He was voted the MVP of the year, after leading the Timberwolves to The Western Conference Finals of the 2003-04 season

Things started going downhill in the 2004-2005 season, with the Minnesota Timberwolves not making the playoffs for the first time. In 2007, when the decision came to trade Kevin Garnett, there were several teams making offers. The Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and the Dallas Mavericks, all were plying for his signature. Finally, The Boston Celtics snapped him up in exchange for 7 players and cash considerations. Kevin Garnett signed a three year contract for $60 million with the Boston Celtics the very day the trade was made public. The 7-for-1 deal constitutes the largest number of players traded for a single player in league history.
The combination of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Garnett were automatically nicknamed “The Big Three” by the media after the Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parish trio. He made his Boston debut with a strong performance against the Washington Wizards, with 22 points and 20 rebounds. With the Celtics, Kevin found perfect playing partners in Pierce—a slasher—and Allen, a smooth perimeter player known for stretching the defense. In 2008 Boston Celtics, with Garnett on their side, were victorious at the NBA championship. Garnett helped the Celtics to their 17th NBA Championship, with 26 points and 14 rebounds in the NBA Finals. Garnett was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year for the 2007–08 season. He also led all players in voting for the 2008 NBA All-Star Game.
In the 2008–09 season, Garnett became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 1,000 career games, at 32 years and 165 days. Garnett earned his twelfth consecutive All-Star Game start on February 15, 2009.
In 2013, the day of the NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets reached a deal to trade Garnett.

Endorsements and Property

Over the course of his 18 year career, Garnett has endorsed some of the biggest brands in the business. Nike, Adidas, Gatorade, Beats by Dre and Zico are some of the brands that he has endorsed. He agreed terms for a multi-million dollar endorsement contract with Chinese sportswear brand Anta in 2010. In December 2011, Garnett agreed to become a limited shareholder of American-owned Italian Serie A soccer team A.S. Roma.

Garnett owns a sprawling estate in Long Lake, which he bought in 2007 for $6.45 million. Garnett also has majestic contemporary estate at Concord which he has put on the market for $4.85 million. With 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, the place is a contemporary masterpiece, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, a wine cellar, and gym and media room.

Personal Life

In July 2004, Garnett married his longtime girlfriend Brandi Padilla during a private ceremony in California. Due to the wedding, Garnett did not take part in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. It’s been rumored that the happy couple have a beautiful baby girl, but no details. Kevin’s nicknames include “The Big Ticket”, “KG”, “Da Kid” and formerly “The Franchise” (after being known as the Minnesota Timberwolves’ franchise player). Before games, he mentally prepares himself by banging his head against a padded basketball stanchion.
