Ice-T is an American actor, rapper and Musician. He is one of the pioneers of Gangster Rap.  His real name is Tracy Lauren Marrow.  He was born on February 16, 1958 in Newark, New Jersey. His mother died when he was in 3^rd grade. He began singing in his teenage years, opening various shows and events. He also served in the United States Army for four years, after completing high school. He began his rapping career in the 1980s.

Russell Wendell Simmons was born on born October 4, 1957 and was raised in queen’s New York. His father worked as a public school administrator and mother was a New York City park administrator.
