Sir Paul McCartney is an English singer, song-writer, composer and musician. He was a member of the legendary music group, The Beatles, along with John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo starr. EARLY LIFE

Sir Paul McCartney was born on 18 July 1942, in Liverpool, England. His mother was a practicing nurse. His father was a soldier during World War 2. He attended the Stockton Wood Road Primary School for 2 years until 1949. He was then transferred to Joseph Williams Junior School. He was among the 4 students, out-of-90, who gained admission in the Liverpool institute. In 1956, when McCartney was 14 years old, his mother died of embolism. His father was a trumpet player and gifted him one on his birthday. He, however, traded it for an acoustic guitar. McCartney is a left-handed guitar player.

McCartney met John Lennon at the age of 15. McCartney was offered to join Lennon’s band, quarrymen, as a Rhythm Guitarist. He forged a close relationship with John Lennon. The band adopted the name, The Beatles, in 1960. After Ringo joined them, the band released its first hit single ‘Love me do’. The Band received massive success and their fans were called ‘Beatlemania’. McCartney was often referred to as the, ‘Cute Beatle’. In 1965, The Beatles released their fist classical track, ‘Yesterday’. It was composed by McCartney. Rubber Soul was an instant hit and McCartney took the role of an instrumentalist, composer, producer, and vocalist. Rubber Soul received an universal acclaim and is regarded as a classic. The band, then, released ‘Revolver’. It was an improvisation in the music of The Beatles. Paul McCartney produced several songs on the album. The Beatles performed at their U.S. tour in 1966. After that, The Beatles adopted an experimental approach to music. Sir McCartney said that they were fucked up being called ’ the cute little performers’. Differences were stirring within the band because of creative differences. After their managers’ death, McCartney took the role as the leader of the group. Many differences were happening among John Lennon and other Beatle Mates. In 1970, McCartney declared his departure from the group. The Beatles are ranked at #1 on Rolling stones list of ’100 Greatest Artists of all time’.

Harvey Phillip Spector  better known as Phil Spector was an American songwriter, record producer and innovator of a music production technique known as “wall of sound” he was a pioneer in music production and produced many hits during 1960 to 65. He was ranked #63 by Rolling stones magazine on their list of greatest artists of all time. In his later days he was convicted of a murder charge and was sent to prison.

Early Life

Born on Dec 26 ,1939 to a Lower-middle class family in New York City, Phil Spector lost his father at an early age of 10.

After joining school he took part in various events and soon learned how to play guitar he performed “Rock island line” at his high school talent show, while at school he joined a group of striving musicians including Lou Adler, Bruce Johnston (member of The Beach boys), Steve Douglas and Sandy Nelson.

With three friends from his high school “Fairfax high school” he formed a group called The Teddy Bears.In year 1958 Spectors’s “Don’t you worry my little pet” got them a deal with Era Records. The Teddy Bears  recorded “To know him is to love him” received many recognition and accolades everywhere and reached #1 on Bill Board hot 100 singles chart with over a million copies sold. After achieving so many great feats the group disbanded in the year 1959.

Spector mostly remained reclusive and inactive during 1980′s to early 2000′s .He attempted to associate with Celine Dion on her album “Falling into you” but that didn’t work for him. His latest release has been “Silence is early” by Starsailor released in 2003.

In the mid of April 2008 BBC 2 broadcast a special entitled Phil Spector: The Agony and The Ecstasy, It consists of Spector’s first screen interview-breaking a long period of media silence.
