Xzibit is a famous rapper and TV show host from America. He earned massive recognition after hosting the MTV show Pimp my Ride. He also gained recognition as a west coast rapper after the release of his acclaimed album, At the speed of life in 1996. His real name is Alvin Nathaniel Joiner. Xzibit was born on 18 September 1974, Detroit. His father left the family to pursue a career as a preacher. After his mothers death, Alvin moved with his father. He then shifted to Los Angeles where he began rapping. He signed to loud records and his first album, At the speed of my life, was released. The album reached the number 74 spot on the Billboard charts. It received rave reviews from the critics. The album was quite successful in Germany ranking at 11 on the german charts. After a gap of 2 years, Xzibit released his second album- 40 dayz and 40 nightz. The album is considered to be a west coast classic. It received an acclaim from the critics and was quite a success.
