Thomas William Selleck, Amrican actor and producer, best known for his role as the private investigator ’Thomas Magnum’ in the TV series Magnum P.I. based in Hawaii. Born on January 29, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan his family moved to Sherman Oaks, California during his childhood. He graduated from Grant High School and attended University of Southern California. He also served as a soldier in the 160th Infantry Regiment of the California Army National Guard and his unit as activated for the Watts Riots in Los Angeles. Tom Selleck, is as famous for his moustache as he is for his TV and film roles.
