EARLY LIFE

Officially known as Kathrin Romary Beckinsale. She was born in England and is the alone child of Richard Beckinsale and Judy Loe, who are both actors. Beckinsale made her debut on the small screen when she was only 4 years old, with the episode This is Your Life. The episode was dedicated to her father. Beckinsale lost her father of 31 years old to a heart attack when she was about five years old. This tragic loss really affected her. After this, she started thinking that bad things will happen. After a few years, Judy Loe, her mother, moved in with the director Roy Battersby. Kate Beckinsale shares a pretty close relationship with him. She was brought up along with his four sons and a daughter. Beckinsale has won awards for writing both fiction and poetry.
