Rick Rubin was born on March 10 1963. He was born in Long Beach, New York. He grew up in Lido Beach. He belonged to a Jewish family. His mother was a housewife and his daddy did shoe business. In his college days, he formed a punk band named ‘Prick’. He was quite unpopular in school among musicians since he merely knew a few guitar chords. He soon developed an interest in Hip Hop and formed the Def Jam records. Rick Rubin initially signed many rap artists and produced a few tracks.
