The name of his independent album is Creek Water. After releasing his independent album he signed a contract with Columbia Records. From Columbia, Yelawolf released two albums named Ball of Flames: The Ballad of Slick Rick E. Bobby and Stereo: A hip hop Tribute to Classic rock. In 2009 he signed the contract with Ghet-O-Vision. After signing the contract he released an album titled Arena Rap. This was his debut album with Ghet-O-Vision. In 2012 he collaborated with British singer Ed Sheeran and released a song titled “you don’t know”. This was his promotional track and it went quite successful. This track was for the promotion of upcoming extended play named The Slumdon Bridge.
