She is particularly known for her role of Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly and for her role in currently on air series Sam and Cat. Jennette McCurdy was born in Garden Grove, California, on June 26, 1992. As a child she gained interest in acting after watching Harrison Ford in Star Wars. She wanted to be an actress from the time when she was as small as seven years old. She started her acting career at the young age of eight, on MAD TV.
