Popularly known as Playboy owner Hugh Hefner’s one of the three girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson went onto become the reality television star that she is today. She was born into middle class family in San Diego. She left high school to try out her luck in the showbiz when she started working as a glamour model. Today, she stands to be one of the most successful women in the entertainment industry, with various professional titles to her name.

Beauty spotted

Kendra, who gets her stunning looks from her varied lineage of Irish, Ukranian and English descent, managed to catch Hugh Heffner’s attention on his 78^th birthday. Hugh decided to hire her as one of the painted girls. Soon after Hefner asked her to be one of his girlfriends, and he moved her into the Playboy Mansion. This led to her being featured on the reality television series The Girls next Door that followed the lives of Hefner’s three girlfriends, including Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. She moved out of the Playboy Mansion in 2009, soon after she met footballer Hank Baskett.

Later, she came up with her own television show ‘Kendra’ that followed the life of Kendra Wilkinson after she quit Playboy and started living on her own. It also filmed the planning of her wedding with her boyfriend Hank Baskett. Since her initial fame, Kendra continues her success in an array of avenues. She starred in her own E! True Hollywood Story in March of 2010. She was also featured on Dancing with the Stars in 2011. She also appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap with famous mother Kate Gosselin in February 2013.

Multi-faceted, as I am

From being a glamour model, to a reality television star to an author, she has done it all. After her successful stint on the television with The Girls Next Door and Kendra, she started appearing in cameo roles in various television series and music videos with Akon, Eminem and Nickelback. She has also showed her talent as an awesome rapper when she rapped to Ludacris’ fantasy on the request o the audience on a television show.

In 2005, she started blogging about her personal life and became a regular blogger columnist at the website of Philadelphia Eagles a team for which her mother had been a professional cheerleader. In 2010 she published a memoir, Sliding Into Home. Kendra launched her personal website KendraWilkinson.com in November 2011. The digital community offers space for Kendra to answer all her fans questions, and connect with each other while talking about family, friends and laughter.

Money and assets gathered

It is estimated that Kendra now makes an annual salary of 2 million dollars. She continues to be a success in nearly all her endeavors. Bagging the role of the main girlfriend on Playboy’s big show has definitely paid off in terms money and fame. Modeling for Playboy and getting featured on reality shows has definitely been her greatest source of income so far. Being a glam model did make her rich overnight. In 2010, she was listed among the top 10 highest paid reality television stars. The season 1 of her show Kendra which features her wedding planning is a huge gig in itself. Reportedly, US Weekly paid her a whopping $120,000 for her wedding. Also, her autobiography Sliding Into Home sold a surprising 79,000 copies. Reportedly, she was paid $680,000 for the best adult DVD Kendra Exposed.

She currently lives with her husband and son in a magnificent manor in Calabasas, California. The home has been built as a blend of several architectural styles, has large columns, two storeys and a sparkling pool surrounded by lawns and trees. And yes, she does drive the big, monstrous cars as well. She was seen driving the massive GMC Yukon, which is said to cost a fortune. She formerly owned a black Cadillac Escalade and presently owns a Range Rover and an Aston Martin DB9. Apparently, she is into high-end brands and seems to endorse them on all occasions. Brands like Anastasia, Sergio Rossi, Taylor Kenney, Alexander Wang, Guiseppe Zanoti and Christian Louboutin are said to be among her favorites.

Surprisingly enough with all the bucks in her piggy bank, she’s not known to have donated money to any charity organizations, although she was seen walking the ramp for a few causes.

The Big Wedding

Kendra, who had been dating footballer Hank basket since 2009, got married to him that very year. It was the luxurious Playboy Mansion that hosted the wedding. Her bridal dress and accessories  were reportedly around $100,000. These included a white duchesse-silk gown wedding gown, platinum drop earrings, platinum pendant and a platinum bracelet. 500 guests attended the ceremony including the Playboy mogul, Hugh Hefner.

The silly little fight

During the video shoot of Akon’s song Smack That, for which Kendra had appeared in a cameo role, a silly fight erupted between Kendra and Eminem, the lead rapper in the video. According to Kendra, Eminem threw water on her  face for no apparent reason. She later recounted his jerkiness in a MySpace posting, lashing out at the rapper. Representatives from Playboy commented on the matter saying that the blog was removed soon after Eminem apologized to her by sending her flowers.

Born on November 7, 1967, Pierre David Guetta, popularly known as David Guetta, is among the most successful of his genre of House, Progressive House, Techno, even emerging in to new types of music. DJing professionally from the age of 17, David Guetta is a genre- busting hit machine, whose fusion of electro and hip hop has beautifully wrapped the pop world. He co founded Gum Productions in 2003 and released his first album, Just A Little More Love, followed by two more super successful albums ‘Guetta Blaster’ and “Pop Life’. Guetta finally achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love. France’s David Guetta is a name that had been voted as #1 DJ in the ‘DG Mag Top 100 DJs’ poll. Till date, he has sold over 6 million records and over 15 million singles. He is credited for producing stars like Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Madonna.

Claim to Fame

Born in Tipton, Paris to a restaurateur father of Moroccan Jewish descent and mother of Belgian descent, Guetta’s parents would frown upon his career choice back in the 80s when DJing was not very popular. In the mid 1990s, he would play in clubs including Le Centrale, the Rex, Le Boy and Folies. Released in 1994 was David’s second single Up And Away, in collaboration with Robert Owens and it was a minor hit in the clubs. Later in that year David Guetta became the manager of the night club Le Palace and he continued to organize parties.

After the foundation of Gum Productions, his first album ‘Just A Little More Love’ on Virgin Records sold over 3,00,000 copies. With his second album ‘Guetta Blaster’, he released four singles among which Money and Stay featured Chris Willis, and the rest two, The World Is Mine and In Love With Myself featured DJ Davis.

In 2007, Guetta’s third album ‘Pop Life’ was released. The album was successful in the UK, Ireland and rest of Europe. According to EMI in 2010, the album has sold a total of 5, 30,000 copies worldwide. The lead single Love Is Gone reached number 1 on the American Dance Chart and chartered on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2009, he was placed third in the Top 100 DJs poll and was elected ‘Best House DJ’ by DJ Awards in 2008. Since April 2009, he had has his own radio show as well on the internet radio show, RauteMusik on Saturday evenings, which was later moved into Radio 538.

David Guetta’s fourth studio album One Love was released in August, 2009. Its first single, When Love Takes Over, featuring Kelly Rowland was placed at #1 on the UK Singles Chart and also many other countries. His second single from the album featuring Akon, became his second number 1 in the UK. His One Love was nominated as the best Electronic/Dance Album at the 52^nd Grammy Awards.

On June 16, 2009, The Black Eyed Peas released the Guetta produced album, I Gotta Feeling which became a worldwide hit topping the chart in seventeen countries. It became the most downloaded song of all time in the USA with more than 7.5 million downloads, selling more than 1 million copies.

His fifth studio album Nothing But The Beat was released on 30 august, 2011, as a double disc album. Guetta was inspired by rock bands to add rock influences to his dance productions.

Naughty Boy!

It seems that the otherwise humble star DJ cannot drive anymore. He is a human after all. He was caught speeding on roads of France several times, due to which his driving license has been banned for life. This means he cannot drive again in his life. However, this small glitch cannot create any hindrance in his popularity and his fan following!

The famous French DJ had once said, “My parents were extreme left, so everything was against the system. I was walking barefoot on the streets of Paris when I was eight. When I started to DJ they hated it, because for them, nightclubs, and all of this life, was terrible and fake.”
