CHILDHOOD

Victoria Caroline Beckham was born in Essex, in the year 1974, to the proud parents Jacqueline Doreen and Anthony William Adams. She decided to have a musical career after watching the musical film Fame. She studied dancing and modeling in Laine Theatre Arts. While in high school, she was a part of a band called Persuasion.

CAREER

In 1994, the Spice Girls happened to Victoria Beckham. All the albums of this band referred to Victoria Beckham as Victoria Adams. “Wannabe”, the most famous song of this band, was also the group’s first single. This was went to number 1 in around 30 countries. Beckham received the nickname Posh Spice from the media reporters. Due to the dipping in the sales record of the third album, the band disbanded and Beckham had a go at a solo career.

“Out Of Your Mind” was her first solo song, after the Spice Girls had disbanded. The second and last single was titled “A Mind Of Its Own.” After a few years, in 2007, the Spice Girls announced that they were planning on doing a tour for all their fans. This tour would have earned them around $20 million. Victoria did the tour only because she wanted her kids to see how much she was loved and appreciated. She did not do a solo number in the entire tour. She posed in front of the cameras, and sold her style.

After a lot of plans for shows or musical on the theme of the Spice Girls, like Viva Forever, in the year 2012, August, the Spice Girls had honored the 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony by performing a simple medley for their songs Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life. The performance was an amazing hit and would be remembered forever by all the Spice Girl fans worldwide.

Victoria, then, marched into the television industry with five documentaries. They were named Victoria’s Secret, Being Victoria Beckham, The Real Beckhams, Full Length and Fabulous: The Beckham’s 2006 World Cup Party and Victoria Beckham: Coming To America. Later on, in 2007, it was announced that Beckham would be a part of the series Ugly Betty. In 2008, Beckham appeared in Project Runway’s fourth season as a guest judge.

After making her presence felt in the music and television industry, Beckham tried a hand at writing as well. Her first book was titled “Learning To Fly” and it was her autobiography which depicted all her life- childhood, family, friends, marriage. Her second book was about fashion! It was titled “That Extra Half An Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between”.

FASHION CALLING

Beckham is most famous for being an international style icon! She made her debut as a model at the London Fashion Week for Maria Grachvogel. She has also been the brand ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana. Respect! She has walked on the runway for a lot of designers and has even appeared in numerous fashion magazine covers. She is a very animal friendly person and has been a part of various anti-fur campaigns. A huge honor was bestowed upon her in the year 2013, then she was named as one of the 100 most powerful women in the UK by Woman’s House.

PERSONAL LIFE

Beckham’s only known relationship, other than with the famous footballer David Beckham, is with Corey Haim. This relationship ended in 1995. David and Victoria started dating in 1997 and the beautiful couple announced their engagement in the following year. They successfully tied the knot in 1999. The couple bought their home was 2.5 million pounds in 1999. The couple has been blessed with four lovely children named Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and Harper Seven.
