Early life: Childhood days

Scott Thompson, stage named as Carrot Top was born and brought up in a small village in Florida, Rockledge. He spent his youth in Cocoa which is also a small town in Florida. His father was Larry Thompson who was a rocket scientist who worked on various rocket missions like that of Gemini and Apollo missions. During his college days he used to perform with his class mate and friend Josh Abelson.

Career

Once he climbed the success ladder, there was no looking back for Carrot Top. He performed exceptionally well as a comedian as well as an entertainer. He also starred in his own show on Cartoon Network, Carrot Top’s AM Mayhem which was aired from 1994 to 1996. He also worked as an announcer till 1999. His each performance continued to be a great hit. He was also headlined in Las Vegas at Luxor Hotel.  He also regularly appears on the show, comedy Central Roasts. He used various props including large trunks even if he mentioned them in just a single line and then he would toss them away. He also played the role of Bradley Cooper in the episode of “Between Two Ferns”. When he doesn’t have shows going on air, he performs various stage acts and plays. He also did various commercials like the one for 1-800-CALL-ATT. He also did one audio track for The Rules of Attraction. He also appeared in serial Reno 911! in its episode “Weigel’s Pregnant”. He also did an audio track for “Police Car”. He also judged the “Last Comic Standing”. He asked the contestants to perform comedy with props.
