He was selected for Atlanta Falcons for the defensive end in the fifth round of 2008 NFL Draft.He contributed for about a total of 14 tackles in 2008.

Biermann is married to the stunning Kim Zolciak who is the actor of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA. They first crossed paths during an Atlanta charity in May 2010.Biermann was present in the ceremony as the contestant while Kim was the attendant in support of one of the mate.The couples were involved together since then.They exchanged the vows on November 11 2011 at their place in Atlanta.
