Nicholas Jerry Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known as Nick Jonas- one of the Jonas Brothers. The pop rock band- Jonas Brothers -was formed by Nick with his brothers- Joe and Kevin.
Early life-
Nick Jonas was born on September 16, 1992 in Dallas, Texas, United States. He was raised in New Jersey and was homeschooled by his mother. Nick is of Italian, German, English, Irish, Scottish, Cherokee, and French-Canadian descent. He has two older brothers, Kevin and Joe.
Career-
Jonas began his music career at the early age of 6 when he was approached by a professional show business manager. By the age of 7 Jonas was performing on Broadway. He performed on several musicals such as ‘A Christmas Carol(2000)’, ‘Annie Get Your gun’(2001), ‘Beauty and the Beast’(2002) and ‘Les Miserables’(2003).
Nick along with his brothers Joe and Kevin wrote their song “Please Be Mine” that was signed by Daylight/Columbia Records. Jonas Brothers’s first album- It’s About Time-was released on August, 2006. Their second album – Jonas Brothers -which was released on August 7, 2007, reached top 5 on the ‘Billboard 200′ chart in its first week and has since sold over three million copies worldwide. Their 3rd studio album, ‘A Little Bit Longer’, was released on August 12, 2008 and sold over 2 million copies. The Jonas Brothers’ fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, was released in the United States in June 2009. Nick also formed the band Nick Jonas & The Administration, which released its first album in 2010.
Nick Jonas along with his brothers starred in the Disney Channel Original Series JONAS L.A. The show is about a pop band trying to live a normal life. He also starred in the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam which were major successes. The Jonas Brothers guest starred in an episode of Hannah Montana. The episode broke basic cable records with a record 10.7 million viewers and became basic cable’s most watched series telecast ever. Nick will be starring in his first real acting role in the thriller Careful What You Wish For which will be released in 2014.

Jonas dated Australian actress and singer Delta Goodrem in May 2011.They broke up in February 2012. Nick is currently dating Miss Universe Olivia Culpo whom he met at the 2013 Miss USA competition.
