Tyler Winklevoss was born on August 21, 1981. He was born in Southampton, Ney York. He is an American entrepreneur and a rower. In the year 2008, he competed along with his rowing partner, his brother Cameron Winklevoss in the men’s pair rowing event at the Beijing Olympics. The three men, Divya Nanrendra, who was the Harvard classmate, Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss founded the Harvard Connection, which is now called as ConnectU. The famous Facebook idea was created by these Winklevoss brothers which was ConnectU but unfortunately the idea is stolen by Mark Zuckerberg. Winklevoss brothers sued Mark Zuckerberg for $140 million, claiming that the idea of Facbook was theirs.

Though Tyler was born in Southampton, but he was grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. His father is Howard E. Winklevoss who was the professor of actuarial science at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is also the author of famous book Pension mathematics With Numerical Illustrations. Not only is this, he was the founder of Winklevoss Consultant and the Winklevoss technologies. He was a very talented man and always influenced his children. Since the age of 6, Tyler Winklevoss learned the classical piano for 12 years. The two twin brothers learned the HTML language at the age of 13 and soon started a web page company. This company developed website for the businesses.
Talking about his education, he attended the Greenwhich Country Day School and completed his graduation from the Brunswick School. He knows various languages apart from English, he learned Latin and Ancient Greek in high school only. Tyler Along with his brother founded the Crew Program when they was in junior year. He was the member of Porcellian Club and the Hasty Pudding Club. He was graduated from the Harvard College in the year 2004 in Economics subject, earning A.B. He completed his MBA in the Year 2010 from the University of Oxford.

In the year 2002, Tyler Winklevoss, Cameran Winklevoss and their friend and Hravard Mate, Divya Narendra together find a way to connect all the Harvard people together and other Universities also, for this they created a social networking site for the Harvard Students which was named as Harvard Connection but he later the dropped the project in 2003 and went to work for Google. Later in the year 2003 their friend approached them to work on the Harvard connection. On the suggestion of Victor the three Winklevoss and Divya approached Mark Zuckerberg to ask him if he can join the Harvard Connection team. But he took this idea of social networking and launched his own website thefacebbok.com at the back of the Winklevoss. After which the matter was taken to the court.
Personal Life
The two twin Winklevoss brothers is dating the girls. The girls are Brazillioan models and are coincidently are the best friends. The caught doublew dating the girls at the premiere of the James Bond documentary “Everything or Nothing: the untold story of 007 at MoMA”. The entrepreneurship is in their blood. His father created an actuarial software company and was a multimillionaire. Last year Winklevoss brothers invested $1million stake in SumZero which is a social platform for money managers to share ideas and which led to $750,000 investment in Hukkster which is a online shopping site that notifies users when selected items have gone on sale. The two Rich Winklevoss brothers are highly inspired from their family their grandfather was also very rich businessman and coal miner, his father was also a multimillionaire entrepreneur. Rowing
Tyler started Rowing at the very young age of 15. He was inspired from hi family friend Ethan Ayer. He began his rowing at the Saugatuck Rowing Club on the Saugatuck River in the year 1997. His coach was James Managan. Tyler’s rowing discipline is sweep rowing and in the year 1999 he made the United Sates Junior national Rowing Team at the Junior World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Winklevoss rowed in the Harvard for four years under the guidance of his coach, Harry Parker. In the year 2004, he sat in the 5 seat heavyweight boat. The crew was later nicknamed as “God Squad”. In the year 2004, Winklevoss and God Squad defeated British and French Olympic eight boats in tne semi-final and spotted in the grand final stage in which they ranked on the sixth number. Tyler won the silver medal in the men’s coxless fours event. Not only is this he started the men’s eight boat to a gold medal on the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.
