Cameron Jibril Thomaz was born on september 8 , 1987 and we better know him by the stage name of Wiz Khalifa. After the release of his debut album he signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2007. His stage name is derived from Khalifa, an arabic word meaning “successor” and wisdom which was shortened to Wiz when Khalifa was a young boy. He later stated that the name also came from being called young Wiz because he was literally good at everything and his grandad was a Muslim.
