Zoe Sugg Net Worth, Money & More
NET WORTH: $3.5 MILLION
CAREER: YOUTUBE STAR
Zoe Elizabeth Sugg or best known as Zoella by her fans on YouTube is an English beauty vlogger, writer, and YouTube star. She was born on March 28, 1990 in Lacock, Wiltshire but currently lives in her newly bought mansion in Brighton. Her funny, quirky and sweet personality is what kept her fans coming back to her channel.
Zoe studied in The Corsham School for her secondary education, where she took art, photography and textiles. She is one of the few successful YouTube stars who did not attend college. When asked why, she says that it because of her severe anxiety and the fact that she didn’t knew what to do. So instead of going to any university, she opted to apply for jobs where she can get experience until she realized that vlogging is the career she wanted to pursue.
Sugg is currently in a relationship with Alfie Deyes, a fellow YouTube celebrity, who is commonly known as PointlessBlog on the said site. They just recently purchased a £1million five-bedroom Brighton mansion.
£1M BRIGHTON MANSION
Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes will share this beautiful mansion with five bedrooms and a log cabin.
Every corner of this mansion screams elegance! Am I not right, readers?
This couple’s new house is everything. No wonder they even gave it a nickname. FYI, they call it the ‘Zalfie Pad’. Cute, huh?
Zoe started her blog in February 2009. She posted mostly about fashion, makeup, beauty finds, and cosmetic products. As of September 2015 countings, her channel now has 9 million subscribers and more than 525 million views. No wonder she earns £20,000 for every video she makes.
However, she faced a controvery in December 2014, when she filmed herself while driving her car. The Metropolitan Police weren’t happy about her ‘reckless’ act while driving her car. Sugg’s spokesperson later said that she mostly filmed during a stationary traffic and not while moving.
Zoe’s first novel, Girl Online, was published on November 25, 2014. It was about a 15-year-old anonymous blogger whose blog suddenly went viral.
Despite the criticisms she received about the book, it still got the highest first-week sales for a debut author since 1998. Seems like a lot of teenagers liked it even with all the controversy, such as the rumor that Siobhan Curham was a ghostwriter for the novel/
AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS:
In 2011, Sugg won the ‘Best Established Beauty Blog’ title in the Cosmopolitan Blog Award, and won the ”Best Beauty Vlogger” award in 2012. She won the ’Choice Web Star’ award in the ‘Fashion/Beauty’ category at the Teen Choice Awards for two consecutive years (2014 and 2015)!
In 2015, Grazia named her as the ‘Most Inspirational Women of the Decade’ in technology and FHM named her the 34th Sexiest Woman in the World! I must say I agree to all this.
At the age of 24, we can say that she absolutely knew what to do with her life.
