Al Pacino’s official name is Alfred James Pacino. He is born in East Harlem, New York, to the proud parents Salvatore Pacino and Rose. He is of Italian American descent. His parents got divorced when Pacino was only two years old. After the divorce, the mother moved back with her parents near Bronx Zoo. His father moved to Covina, California, and there he worked as an insurance salesman and restaurateur. His pet name while growing up was “Sonny”. He wanted to become a basketball player. When he was 17 years old, he dropped out of high school. As his mother did not accept this, he ran away from home. After becoming independent, he did a lot of odd jobs to make ends meet. He has been a busy man in both in personal and professional life. Pacino has dated a lot of gorgeous women.
