Chad Johnson’s full name is Chad Javon Johnson and is formely known as Chad Ochosinco. He is an American footballer who has been playing a free agent since early 2013. He was born in Miami, Florida in USA on January 9,1978. He is currently 36 years old and is married. He also has 4 children named Jicyra, Chad Johnson II, Chade an Chaille.

Chad Johnson legally changed his surname to Ochosinco in August 2008. Both Jackson’s parents were not really consistent figures in his life. His father’s name was Sam and his mother’s name was Paula Johnson. Chad did not really know anything about his father except his name. For most of his childhood he was raised by his mother’s parents, Bessie and James Flowers. He still calls Bessie his mom as his real mother Paula could not look after hi at all even though she just lived a few blocks away. Chad developed a healthy appetite for sports as he was a child and had no interest in schoolwork snd so was not a bright student in his school days. He was a naughty kid. For instance, he crashed his family car at the age of 10 and defended his act by saying that he was taking the car for a wash. Chad was also influenced by the street and so got into smoking, drinking and even stealing.

He has acquired his education from Oregon State University, Santa Monica College. Chad Johnson, who is professional football wide receiver, officially joined the National Football League in 2001. In the 2001 NFL draft, he was selected as a 2nd round pick u by the Cincinnati Bengals. CNBC named Johnson as the no.1 in its list of “most influential athletes in social media” in April 2009. Johnson, throughout his entire footbal career, has also played for other franchises including New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. He became an NFL pro bowler for 6 times. CINCINNATI BENGAL’S

Johnson was chosen by the Cincinnati bengal’s in the second round of the 2001 NFL season.In his debut season chad was an average player,catching 28 passes for 329 yards and just one touchdown.But chad slowly improved,in 2003, he set a record for the bengal’s by recording 1355 receiving yards.And in 2004 he caught 95 passes for 9 touchdowns and played a very vital role in bengal’s win over Cleveland brown.

 

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Chad made his first entry on the big stage by signing a contract with the new England patriots.He restructed the contract for 3 years for $6.35 millions.Ochocinco had the least productive season of his career by catching just 15 passes for 276 yards and just 1 touchdown.

On june 7,2008 he was released by the patriots.

 

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Ochocinco made second major transfer of his career signing for the Miami dolphins where he changed his name back to Johnson.But it was only on August 12,2012 that he was released by the franchisee.

On nov,16,2010 ochocinco proposed to his girlfriend whom he was dating since early in the year.But soon after the marriage ochocinco was arrested for headbutting his wife following an argument.his wife Evelyn lozado then filled for divorce claiming that her marriage was irretrievably broken.On sept,19 2012 the divorce was finalized.
