Birth name Eva Jacqueline Longoria, she was born in the year 1975, in Texas. She has four sisters. Her parents are Enrique Longoria Jr and Ella Eva Mireles. Longoria was raised as a Roman Catholic. Longoria really worked hard to establish herself in the industry. She even waitressed for three years. She won the title of Miss Corpus Christi, USA in the year 1998. Soon after this competition, she was discovered by a theatrical agent. She has also worked as a headhunter for four years. Longoria is an intelligent woman! CAREER
Longoria started her career as a hostess on the television show “L.A. in a Day” by Gary Ghiaey, in the year 1999. Following which, she guest starred in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. After this, she got a major role in the CBS Daytime soap opera titled The Young and the Restless, where she played the role of Isabella Brana. In 2003, her career really took off with her role as Gabrielle Solis in the ABC comedy-drama titled The Desperate Housewives. With this series, she became an overnight success. The role brought her a lot of critical acclaim and a good, strong fan following. Longoria was named the entertainer of the year by ALMA Award. Her first major theatrical movie role was in The Sentinel.

PERSONAL LIFE
Longoria has been in two failed marriages, its the harsh reality! She was married for two years to Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004. Longoria, then, became engaged to Tony Parker in 2006 and the couple tied the knot in 2007. They got married in a simple civil ceremony, which was followed by a full on Catholic wedding ceremony in Paris. When the couple filed for a divorce, they stated the reason as “irreconcilable differences”. After the divorce, her maiden name was successfully restored. Longoria believed that her husband had cheated on her. The relationship had turned sour by the end. In 2012, she was among the seven Californians named to the post of co-chair of Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.
