Eva Moskowitz was born on4 March, 1964. Her birth name was Eva Sarah Moskowitz. Eva runs Success Academy Charter Schools and was a City Councilmember both of which are located in New York City. Apart from this education work, she co-authored a book in the year 2012 named Mission Possible with an aim to guide the running charter school. Early Life
Eva Moskowitz was grew up in the city, Harlem. Talking about her education, she was graduated from Stuyvesant High School. Eva was an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania. Later she pursued her B.A with honors in history and influenced her prioritizing writing by her students at Success Academy Charter Schools. Not only is this, she received a Ph.D in American history from Johns Hopkins University in the year 1991.
In the period 1989-1990, she taught women’s history. She taught this subject at the University of Virginia as a visiting professor of communication and mass culture. In the period 1992-1993, she taught at the Vanderbilt University as an assistant professor of history. In the period 1994-1995 she taught at the City University of New York as an assistant professor of history. And lastly in the period 1996-1999, she taught at the Columbia University as the faculty seminar in American Studies. She is a happily married woman with three children, Culver, Dillon and Hannah.
Career
Eva is the founder of Success Academy Charter schools, not only is this, she serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Academy. Eva applied to start a charter school in the Upper East Side after that she entered into the electoral politics. In the year 2009, Eva organized the Harlem Education Fair which aim the families to select from the various charter and non-charter public schools which includes this, Success Academy Charter school also. Not only is tis, Eva runs the Great Public School Political Action Committee. In the year 2011-2012, the committee gave $50,000 to Andrew Cumbo 2014, Inc. Apart from these, Eva is on the board of StudentsFirst NY which is known to be a local branch of a political campaign regarding schools nationwide. Now the year 2011, is always remembered in her name as she led a parents and students rally to protest against the NAACP’s involvement ina a teachers union’s lawsuit against co-location of charter schools in non-charter public school buildings.

Now moving over to her career in politics, she volunteers in Gifford Miller’s City Council campaign in the year 1995 or 1996. Talking about the Council, she was elected as the New York City Council Member for the Upper East Side of Manahattan in the year 1999. In the year 2002-2005, it was reported that, she chaired the Council Education Committee and held over 100 oversight hearings. In the year 2003, Eva Moskowitz called arts education across the city “completely hodgepodge”. In the same year, 2003, Eva introduced a gun control bill.
