Jeff Foxworthy was born on September 6, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. his birth name was Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy. He married to Pamela Gregg in the year 1985 and has two children. He is an American stand-up comedian actor, television and radio personality. Not only is this he an author, voice artist and comedian also. He is a member of a comedy troupe, Blue Collar Comedy Tour and is known for his “You might be a redneck”. Jeff wrote various kinds of books and wrote several books specifically on redneck jokes. He has released six major labels on his comedy albums and his two albums are certified by the Recording industry Association of America. Early life
His father was Jimmy Abstance Foxworthy who was an IBM executive and the mother, Carole Linda Foxworthy. His grandfather was fireman. He was raised in Baptist tradition. He was graduated from Hapeville High School and Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He worked in IBM for five years in mainframe computer maintenance and later entered and won the Great Southeastern Laugh-off at Atlanta’s punchline comedy club in the year 1984 and this where his career change the direction.

In the year 1990, he received an American Comedy Award for the “Best Stand-Up Comic” category. In the year 1993, he released the album, “You Might Be a Redneck” which topped the comedy album charts. More than three million copies of the album “Redneck” are sold. In the year 1995, he released “Games Rednecks Play” which received Grammy nomination for “Best Spoken Comedy” in the year 1996. In the year 1998, his album “Totally Committed” was released and later in the year 1999 it received a Grammy nomination and not only had this it’s CD received a “Gold” status. He not only appeared in the series but also hosted the Country’s weekly “TNN” music city news Country Awards show for 1998, 1999 and 2000.
