Some people are said to destined for success and some people are just determined to have it, and those are the self-made people we all learn to respect.. Jennifer Lawrence, who started her career at the young age of 16, falls under the latter category. Born on August 15, 1990, Jennifer Lawrence grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She didn’t come from money, she didn’t come from a long line of people in the acting business. Her mom ran a children’s camp and her dad owned a concrete construction company. But Jennifer had only one thing on her mind. When she was young, she had already found that the only thing she would ever be interested in doing would be to act. Having made this decision, at the age of just 14, she somehow managed to convince her parents to move to New York City to find an agent, which was where she lived for a couple of years before moving to California.
Experts believe that to ensure success in the acting profession it is essential to take acting classes or training of some sort. Jennifer Lawrence however had no formal training and had never attended any acting classes. This being so, she is now one of the most sought after actress in Hollywood and has even won an Academy Award for her role in the movie “Silver Linings Playbook”.
