She was born into middle class family in San Diego. She left high school to try out her luck in the showbiz when she started working as a glamour model. Today, she stands to be one of the most successful women in the entertainment industry, with various professional titles to her name.

Kendra, who gets her stunning looks from her varied lineage of Irish, Ukranian and English descent, managed to catch Hugh Heffner’s attention on his 78th birthday. Hugh decided to hire her as one of the painted girls. Soon after Hefner asked her to be one of his girlfriends, and he moved her into the Playboy Mansion. This led to her being featured on the reality television series The Girls next Door that followed the lives of Hefner’s three girlfriends, including Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. She moved out of the Playboy Mansion in 2009, soon after she met footballer Hank Baskett.

Kendra, who had been dating footballer Hank basket since 2009, got married to him that very year. It was the luxurious Playboy Mansion that hosted the wedding. Her bridal dress and accessories were reportedly around $100,000. These included a white duchesse-silk gown wedding gown, platinum drop earrings, platinum pendant and a platinum bracelet. 500 guests attended the ceremony including the Playboy mogul, Hugh Hefner.
The silly little fight
During the video shoot of Akon’s song Smack That, for which Kendra had appeared in a cameo role, a silly fight erupted between Kendra and Eminem, the lead rapper in the video. According to Kendra, Eminem threw water on her face for no apparent reason. She later recounted his jerkiness in a MySpace posting, lashing out at the rapper. Representatives from Playboy commented on the matter saying that the blog was removed soon after Eminem apologized to her by sending her flowers.
