Born in the ‘city that never sleeps’,Marlon Wayans is an American actor,producer and comedian  who kick started his acting career in “I’m gonna bite you sucka” in 1988 .Wayans is mainly known for his role as a comedian that fetched him the big bucks.Marlon Wayans usually appears in the films with his brother Shawn Wayans, who is also known to be a successful actor. Together with him, Marlon Wayans has appeared in the sitcom called “The Wayans Bros” on WB as well as in movies, which gained a lot of success and became known on an international scale, such as “White Chicks”, “Scary Movie”, “Scary Movie 2”, “Dance Flick” and “Little Man”. New York born Marlon Wayans was the youngest of the ten children. Most of his siblings are notable figures in the film industry,Keenen, an actor, director and writer; Damon, an actor and producer; Kim, an actress; and Shawn, an actor and write are some of his family members who made it big in  Holly Wood . He studied at the Fiorello H.La Guardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in New York City followed by a degree at Howard .Wayans married long time girlfriend Angelica Zachary in 2005. They have two children, a son Shawn (named after Wayans’s brother) and a daughter Amai.

Although at the age of 16, Wayans role in ‘I’m gonna bite you sucka’ was only that of a pedestrian,it gave him the chance to learn about the industry and the way it works. As his siblings careers started soaring,Wayans grew edgy in school, and in 1992, after only two years of college, he dropped out. Wayans took a role on another Keenen Ivory Wayans production, In Living Colour, the highly acclaimed sketch comedy show that helped launch the careers of such future stars as Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx. He was also a part of the celebrity death hoax that proclaimed him dead in 2012.

Mainstream success

His conventional success came when he hogged the limelight when he co-starred with his brother Shawn Wayans in the WB sitcom The Wayans Bros, a largely autobiographical show based on the brothers’ real relationship and personalities. The Wayans Bros, which ran from 1995 to ’99, helped transform Marlon Wayans into one of the most prominent members of his decorated family.  Followed by  his most popular film-to-date, the blockbuster horror spoof,Scary Movie, in 2000.It earned a whopping $157 million dollars after its release. He co-wrote and acted in the movie that opened the the lock to his personal money mint.

Marlon Wayans also co-wrote and appeared in the film’s several sequels:Scary Movie 2 (2001), Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scary Movie 4(2006). In addition to the Scary Movie series, Marlon Wayans and his brother Shawn have starred in the popular spoof films White Chicks (2004), Little Man (2006) and Dance Flick (2009).He earned high critical acclaim for his portrayal of a heroin addict in the dark 2000 film Requiem for a Dream.  His other important film was G.I.JOE-Rise Of The Cobra along side Channing Tatum in 2009 where he played the role of Rip Cord, a fictional Joe character.
