Our very own Mission Impossible actor Tom Cruise with the real name Thomas Cruise Mapother IV was born on 3rd July, 1962. The 51 year old has done a whole lot of movies which have made him what he is today. He started his career at the age of 19 in 1981 with the film Endless Love. After which he gave many blockbusters. Owing to his versatility he has also been into production. Cruise partnered with his former talent agent Paula Wagner to form Cruise/Wagner Productions in 1993. The company produced many of Cruise’s movies, Mission Impossible being the first one which reached great heights of success.

Tom was born to Thomas Cruise Mapother III, an electrical engineer and Mary Lee Pfeiffer, a special education teacher. His birth place was Syracuse, New York, USA but he spent his childhood at different places. Tom didn’t seem to have really good relationship with his father.
