Wendy Williams, is a famous media personality, actress and author. She hosts a syndicated television talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. Wendy Williams was born on July 18, 1964 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Her parents, Thomas and Shirley Williams,[4] raised Wendy and her siblings in the Wayside section of Ocean Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. She has written an autobiography and several other books, and has created two product lines. She attended Northeastern University in Boston where she was a college radio station DJ. Her first professional radio job was at WVIS in the Virgin Islands. From there she landed a job as a substitute DJ in New York City.
Career
Wendy started her career by working for WVIS in the Virgin Islands. Williams started working at urban contemporary WRKS (now WEPN-FM) in New York City as a substitute disc jockey around 1989. WRKS hired her full-time for its morning show. Williams won the Billboard Award for “Best On-Air Radio Personality” in 1993 and then moved to afternoon prime time show when she won the billboard.
Her voice touched the heart millions as a result when she started working for Philadelphia urban station, WUSL the ranking of the channel improved from 14th to 2nd .She was quite broad minded and open and discussed about her life on air, discussing her miscarriages, breast enhancement surgery, and drug addiction. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.Wendy has also written six books, several of which were bestsellers. Wendy is especially known for her famous catch phrase “How you doin?”

Williams started her own talk show on 13th July 2008 The Wendy Williams Show, a 6-week test run on Fox owned-and-operated stations in New York City, Dallas, Detroit, and Los Angeles. Fox Television Stations went into a deal with syndication company Deb mar-Mercury at the end of the test to broadcast the show on its station .

- During her segment on her talk show today, Wendy Williams brought up the recent controversy surrounding Madonna referring to her son as a “nigga.”This somehow segued into Williams saying 13-year old Rocco is a “big of his mother” and totally losing it because her teenage boy doesn’t like her any more.
