She had developed quite a drinking problem and once, she even cancelled a performance at the last moment, being highly unprofessional, just so she could be with her former boyfriend. In 2008, she took a really good step of quitting drinking.


In 2010, Adele received a Grammy nomination for her song “Hometown Glory”. Some of Adele’s most famous songs include “Make You Feel My Love”, “Skyfall”, “Someone Like You”, “Rolling In The Deep” and “Chasing Pavements”. All the mentioned songs got Adele a lot of awards. Adele’s tour sold out completely in North America. She had a little problem with her vocal chords around this time and had to undergo laser microsurgery so as to be able to remove a benign polyp. In 2012, she bagged six Grammy Awards. She takes her time composing music. She was named as the Billboard Artist of the Year, in the year 2012. Adele is a total package- an entertainer of the year.

In 2013, Adele had managed to win nine Grammy Awards. In 2014, she won her tenth Grammy Award for the song “Skyfall” that was used in a James Bond Movie titled Skyfall.


Adele has had a complicated life- a drinking problem, failed relationships. In 2012, she started dating Old Etonian and gave birth to their son in 2012. Adele’s weight has been a constant source of scrutiny for her. It has been discussed in exaggeration by the media as well. But, she is happy with who she is and in her interviews, she has clearly stated that she is not bothered about her weight until and unless it starts affecting her health.Adele is an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.
