He is an English-American who was raised by his English father and American mother. He was born on July 30, 1970. Even as a child, Nolan loved to experiment with his dad’s Super-8 cine camera. When Nolan was a student at University College London, he was already shooting several short movies. His brother Jonathan Nolan has written stories for him and his uncle John has acted in his films. Also, one of his sons made an appearance in the movie Inception. In the year 2005, Nolan made Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale as the Batman. Then, its sequel The Dark Knights came in 2008 and received global acclaim from audience as well as critics.
