Franciso Muniz IV, popularly known as Frankie Muniz was born on 5th December in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, US in the year 1985. His acting career began when he was 8 years old after being noticed by an agent at a talent show. His debute film, “To Dance with Olivia” was released in the year 1997 after which he bagged a small role in “Lost and Found” in the year 1999. Muniz became immensely popular through the hit TV series, “Malcolm in the Middle”. The series was first aired in February, 2000 and became an instant hit, both critically and commercially.
Muniz has also starred in subsequent movies like “Agent Cody Banks, “Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London”, “Big Fat Liar”, “Stay Alive” and more. Muniz kept trying his luck in various fields within entertainment industry (musician, actor, producer)as well as beyond it (racecar driver).

Controversy
In February 2011, Frankie and his girlfriend Elycia Marie Turnbow had a huge fight. If rumors are to be believed, things got a bit out of hand when Frankie pointed a gun to his head. However Frankie claimed that neither did he assault Elycia nor did the gun play any part in the argument while Elycia had a different story to tell.

Muniz has earned two Golden Globe Awards nominations and one Emmy Awards nomination.. He has received the Young Artists Award in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
