Jim Walton was born on 7th June in the year 1948 and he is the youngest heir of Sam Walton. Sam Walton is the founder of Wal-Mart which is the world’s largest retailer. He has three siblings, Alice Walton, Rob Walton and John Walton. John died in the year 2005. In the year 1965 Jim did his graduation from Bentonville High School. He was a talented and popular student in his school as in his junior class he was made the president of the class. During his school days he played all state level football matches  learned how to fly a plane. Jim Walton is married to Lynne McNabb and the couple has four children, Thomas L. Walton, James M. Walton, Alice A. Proietti and Steuart L. Walton. Jim is the most shy and the quietest children of Sam, he rarely makes public appearances.

CONTROVERSY

Making Change, an advocacy Group complained against Jim Walton that he contributed more money to the candidates in the 2008 election cycle than the maximum legal money that can be granted by an individual. The complaint was filed in the year 2012 when “Making Change” group found a evidence while in the year 2012 it was reviewing the donations made to the political parties by the Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
