Naomi Ellen Watts was born in England, in the year 1968. Her mother is Myfanwy Edwards, an antiques dealer and costume and set designer and her father is Peter Watts who is a road manager and sound engineer who has worked with the legendary Pink Floyd. Watt’s parents got divorced when she was only a small little kid of four years. She, along with her elder brother, lived with her mother and had to move around a lot. Somehow, the parents reconciled but after two years, Peter Watts was found dead in a flat. Cause of death was stated heroin overdose.
Watts names her mother as the major inspiration. She attended Thomas Mills High School in Suffolk. After shifting to Australia, she became friends with Nicole Kidman while taking an acting class. Watts did a lot og odd jobs when she was young. Jobs like papergirl, managing delicacies store and being a negative cutter. Watts decided to become a model when she was eighteen years old.
