Stephanie McMahon Levesque is an American woman who has a big name in the world of wrestling. She belongs to the family of wrestlers and is the daughter of WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon. She has been a former wrestler and also a professional wrestling valet. She is currently into business. She is well-known by names like ‘The Billion Dollar Queen’ and ‘Mrs Game’. She holds share in the ownership of WWE and is the Chief Brand Officer too. She is the only diva in WWE in the fourth generation. She has won the WWF Women Champion title once. She is married to the WWE wrestler and executive vice president Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Together they are well known as ‘The Authority’.

Early Life:

Stephanie was born on 24th September, 1976 in Hartford, Connecticut. She is daughter of Linda and Vince McMahon. Her father was a well-known face in WWE and so Stephanie decided her interests quite early in her life. She started appearing in WWF (World Wrestling Federation) merchandise like catalogs, modelling T-shirts and hats at the age of thirteen. She graduated in 1998 and has a degree in Communications from the Boston University. After graduation, she became associated with WWF full-time.

Wrestling Career:

Stephanie has a long association with WWE. She started working as a receptionist and has been working for over 15 years with WWE. Currently, she is the Executive Vice President of WWE’s Creative Development and Operations. She started her career within the rings in the 1990s. In 1999, she regularly featured on WWE, with Vince and The Undertaker, in a storyline. But, the sweet Stephanie was stalked and almost abducted by Undertaker who tried to marry her in the middle of the ring. She was however, rescued by Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The following year, absence of Vince McMahon due to the injuries caused to him by Undertaker at the Armageddon event, led to the “McMahon-Helmsley Era”. It was a period when Triple H and Stephanie were the on screen owners of the WWF and it was under the dominance of the McMahon-Helmsley Faction. Stephanie has been on and off the screen all the time. In 2001, she was the owner of Extreme Championship Wrestling during The Invasion. In the next year, she was made the General Manager of SmackDown. But she disappeared from the television, after an “I Quit” match with her father. She was also the Raw brand General Manager in 2008 and appeared regularly on the television.

Stephanie is the winner of WWF Women’s Championship. She has won many titles in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. She won the PWI Woman of the Year (2000), PWI Feud of the Year (2002 and 2013). Recently, she was given the title of PWI Most Hated Wrestler of the Year in 2013. She was also given the Slammy Award for Insult of the Year (2013) for insulting Big Show. From 2001 to 2003, she also coined the Worst Non-Wrestling Personality.

The Business Career:

McMahon was the director of creative writing and later made the Senior Vice President of Creative Writing in 2006. She then became the Executive VP of creative and used to see the Storylines for all television and pay-per-view programmes. In 2011, she became a board member of the USO Metropolitan Washington. She is responsible for the WWE app which has been downloaded by over 11 million users. In 2013, Stephanie rose to the position of Chief Brand Officer. She will now lead the WWE’s marketing program for youth and moms. She is also the lead ambassador of WWE and is known as the boss of all current WWE ambassadors.

Stephanie and her husband Paul have a large sum of their money invested in bonds. They hold stocks of WWE worth millions of dollars. Stephanie alone owns a total of 2, 511,071 WWE shares of which 51,945 are those of class A. Paul Levesque, her husband and current Executive Vice President of WWE has 50,764 shares of WWE under his ownership. Stephanie recently got into a 3-year bond with WWE, to perform as an in-ring performer for $325,000 per year. Besides, she makes $500,000 a year for being the company’s Chief Brand Officer. In 2013, she sold more than 800,000 WWE shares as she needed money to buy her new house. The sales were carried out in 43 transactions and the amount was nearly equal to $8.3 million.

Stephanie has made her appearances on shows like The Howard Stern Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Opie and Anthony as well as several ESPN shows. She made it to the finals of the show ‘The Weakest Link’, where the WWF personalities promote and compete for their charities. She was also seen occasionally in the television series ‘Total Divas.’ She also did an interview series with her daughter on the topic ‘Women can have it all’.

Personal Life:

McMahon and her wrestler husband, Paul “Triple H” Levesque tied the nuptial knot in October 2003. They have three daughters. Stephanie underwent a breast implant surgery in July 2001. She is also accused of having started a firing on Joanie “Chyna” Laurer who in 2001, quit the WWE. Laurer was involved in a romantic relationship with Paul Levesque, before Stephanie and Paul started dating.
