In the year 1996, when Apple failed to deliver its OS, Copland they turned to NeXT Computer and the NeXTSTEP became the foundation for the Mac OS X. during his career as the CEO of Apple he oversaw the development of the iMac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone and iPad and also the company’s Apple Retail Stores, iTunes Store and also the App Store. The success of the company became the world’s most valuable public traded company in the year 2011. In the year 2003, he was diagnosed with a pancreas neuroendocrine tumor. He died of respiratory arrest on October 5, 2011.
