Jerry Seinfield is famous for his semi-fictional version of himself in the amazing sitcom Seinfield which ran on the television till 1998. He co-wrote it with Larry David. Seinfield is known for his wit and humor. His real name is Jerome Allen “Jerry” Seinfield.

Seinfield was born in Brooklyn, in 1954 and went to Queens College, City University of New York. All of his work shows observational comedy. He is sharp and very perceptive. In 2004, Seinfield appeared in two commercial webisodes promoting American Express, titled The Adventures of Seinfield & Superman. Seinfield and “Superman” were also interviewed by Matt Lauer.

On May 13, 2006, Seinfield had a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live as host Julia Louis- Dreyfus’ assassin.

Other than this, he has lent his voice for the character of Barry, in the movie Bee Movie, in 2008.

In 2012, Seinfield started a web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, in which he would pick up a fellow comedian in a different car each episode and take him or her out for coffee and conversation. Seinfield was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for the series.

PERSONAL LIFE

Seinfield was born to parents Kálmán Seinfeld and Betty. He grew up in Massapequa, New York and he has even spent a short frame of time in volunteering in Kibbutz Sa’ar, Israel. Seinfield graduated with a degree in communications and theater.

Seinfield met his wife Jessica Sklar at the Reebok Sports Club in 1998 and the adorable couple married in 1999. George Wallace, a fellow comedian, was the best man.

After getting married, the couple bought Billy Joel’s house for $32 Million. Currently, they have one daughter and two sons. All of the children were born in New York itself. Seinfield is best buds with fellow comedians Wallace, Mario Joyner and Larry Miller.

Seinfield is also known to have made several political contributions where he has assisted in various presidential campaigns.

Early January of 2008 marked a lawsuit against Jerry and his wife Jessica. The couple was sued by Missy Chase Lapine, author of The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Food in Your Kids’ Favorite Meal, for plagiarism, copy right infringement, and trademark infringement due to Jessica Seinfeld’s 2007 release of Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Getting Your Kids to Eat Good Food.
